ReportMill generated reports are primarily comprised of text information gleaned from an application dataset or database dataset. ReportMill preserves this text information as readable text in the most common report file formats: PDF, HTML and Excel. As such, the text is accessible to screen readers and Braille displays.

There are no conditions where textual information is converted to a graphical representation, with the exception of graphing.

Of all the data representation ReportMill offers, the only one that turns dataset information into a purely graphical representation is ReportMill's graphing. Currently there is no automatic solution for providing a textual representation of a ReportMill graph. However, a reasonable solution for this is to create a special 508 version of any templates containing a graph where the graph has been replaced with a crosstab.
