INTERNET WORLD, LOS ANGELES -- April 5, 2000 -- ReportMill Software, Inc. today announced the release of ReportMill 4, an enhanced version of its easy-to-use dynamic web page design tool which includes business graphing, such as bar and pie charts, as well as advanced expression calculations. ReportMill 4 also includes new support for the latest release of Apple's leading application server software, WebObjects 4.5, and support for Macromedia's Flash file format.

Since the release of Version 3, ReportMill has been available directly from Apple to support WebObjects customers who are developing and deploying Internet and e-commerce applications. Graphing functionality in ReportMill 4 provides many of the features previously only available in separate graphing packages, saving web developers thousands  of dollars. Advanced expression calculation available in Version 4 allows customers to quickly enhance their object model to present relevant information to their web customers.

Macromedia's Flash file format support is a first for any web developer tool. Flash is an open vector graphics standard for creating high quality documents and currently is used by more than 90 percent of all internet browsers worldwide. It is now possible to create professional Internet content for a wide audience, such  as catalogs,  financial statements, invoices, product specifications, itineraries  and much more. Utilizing ReportMill's existing support for Adobe's PDF, it is also possible for the first time to generate content on  the fly that is both interactive (Flash) and printable (PDF).
